Greater Vision Dance Company (GVDC)

is a Youth concert commercial dance based company focused on both technique and performance. The vision of this organization is to enlighten and expand societal views in all areas of dance. Our mission is to increase the community’s exposure and appreciation for the performing and visual arts through affordable classes, workshops and performances along with other opportunities.

The company hosts two concerts per year which usually lasts approximately two hours in length and also host National Dance Day Cultural Showcase a full day of dance workshops and performances. The Greater Vision Dance Company members has participated in conventions and workshops in Winston Salem, Greensboro, Charlotte, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach and Long Beach just to name a few. GVDC also provide free community performances to the Winston Salem community including NC Black Theater Festival, NC Black Repertory MLK Birthday Celebrations, Triad Cultural Arts Inc. Juneteenth, Greensboro and Winston Salem Kwanzaa, Forsyth County Public Library and banquets upon request. We are also partner with Community Organizations like The Full Circle, Inc that provide company members with Free Dance Opportunities.

Financial Responsibility

The fees associated with Greater Vision Dance Company Members are $250 registration fee per season and $100 per month. Fees are non-refundable.

Ask about payment plans and family discounts. FEES Include classes, rehearsals, team and self building, and performance experiences. (Convention and Competition fees are NOT included)

Sponsorship and In-Kind Donations

Maintaining high quality programs of this magnitude takes not only time, dedication, and consistent commitment from all involved, it also requires revenue, sponsorship, and in-kind donations. Therefore, we are looking for partners and sponsors. As a partner or sponsor you will have the opportunity to become a part of a progressive performing arts organization impacting youth in the Winston-Salem Triad area. Through your sponsorship we will be able to maintain the expense of instruction, academic tutoring, field experiences, dance conventions, and costumes.
